Founding Head of Business Development & Partnerships

We are building an AI-native entertainment studio focused on high-quality vertical microdramas, cinematic short-form storytelling, and scalable AI production pipelines.
Our studio combines:
* advanced generative AI workflows,
* cinematic production systems,
* and internet-native storytelling formats
to produce premium short-form entertainment at dramatically higher speed and lower production overhead than traditional studios.
We already have the production pipeline and creative infrastructure in place.
Now we are looking for a commercially aggressive operator who can help us secure production contracts, platform partnerships, IP collaborations, and strategic distribution relationships.

The Opportunity
This is not a traditional sales role.
You will act as a founding commercial partner helping shape the growth engine of the studio.
Your role is to:
* bring in production deals,
* open strategic relationships,
* package opportunities,
* and position the studio as a leading AI-native production partner globally.
You should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, moving fast, and building relationships from zero.

Secure Production & Platform Deals
Pitch and close:
* microdrama platform partnerships,
* branded content production,
* AI-native entertainment projects,
* IP adaptation opportunities,
* and co-production agreements.
Potential targets may include:
* short drama platforms,
* web novel companies,
* entertainment apps,
* media startups,
* creator brands,
* and global content distributors.

Develop relationships with:
* content acquisition teams,
* entertainment executives,
* media buyers,
* talent networks,
* creators,
* agencies,
* and platform operators.

Commercialize the Studio Pipeline
Help position our AI production infrastructure into scalable commercial offerings:
* studio-as-a-service,
* AI-assisted production,

Work Directly With Founders
You will work closely with the founding team on:
* pricing strategy,
* packaging,
* partnership structure,
* business development systems,

* agencies,
* creator economy businesses,

You have experience selling:
* production services,
* creative retainers,
* media partnerships,
* sponsorships,
* agency deals,
* or entertainment/IP collaborations.
You understand how to navigate objections around AI-generated content and position it as a production advantage.

* performance-driven upside,

Compensation Structure
This role is intentionally structured around aggressive upside.
Revenue Share / Commission
* 10%–20% commission on originated and closed contracts
* Paid against received client payments/milestones

Initial equity is milestone-based and tied to measurable commercial impact.
Potential structure:
* 0.5%–1% initial vesting allocation
* Additional equity unlocked through revenue milestones and strategic partnerships
Examples:
* ₹50L closed contract volume → additional equity unlock
* ₹1Cr+ closed contract volume → expanded vesting
* Anchor platform partnership → strategic bonus allocation
Exceptional operators may transition into long-term leadership positions with expanded ownership.
