Who we are
Hampox is an AI-powered website builder that creates premium websites for Indian small businesses in seconds, in their own language — connected straight to WhatsApp orders. No developers, no agencies, no waiting. Built for shopkeepers, studio owners, family manufacturers, and first-time founders who know their product but have never had a website. ₹399/month, free to start, no card needed. It's live. Real businesses are using it right now.
One person built the entire product — code, infra, every decision. That part is done. What's not done is making India feel it.
What this role actually is
Not a content-execution seat. Not a video-editing seat. This is a strategy-and-creation seat — someone who thinks like a business person, a growth person, and a storyteller at once, and then goes and builds the thing themselves.
You'll be doing all of this, in balance:
- Business strategy — how we position Hampox, frame the free trial, price the story, and decide who we go after next
- Content strategy — what we say, to whom, why, and how it compounds over time, not one-off posts
- Creative strategy — turning a business idea into a piece of content someone can't scroll past. Story arcs. Emotional hooks. The kind of content that doesn't feel like an ad.
- Short-form execution — writing, shooting, and cutting Reels/Shorts yourself, using AI video and creative tools as your instrument (think Sora, Runway, Veo, Kling, HeyGen, CapCut AI, and whatever's newest — we move with the tools, not behind them)
- Organic growth — building real reach without ad spend, across platforms and across vernacular channels, owning a Telugu or Hindi audience end to end
The thread connecting all of it: a shopkeeper who's never had a website needs to feel, in three seconds of video, that Hampox is for them. That's the actual job.
Who I'm looking for
- Someone with real business instinct — not just "make it look good," but "why would this work"
- A storyteller who understands emotion — you know why a frame, a line, a beat makes someone feel something
- Comfortable with AI tools as creative leverage, not intimidated by them
- Fluent in Telugu and/or Hindi, in addition to English — tell me your strongest language, it decides the channel you'd own
- Passion and courage over credentials. I'm not filtering by certificates, degrees, or a list of software you've touched. I'm filtering for people who treat a rough idea as something to build on, not an instruction to follow.
- Someone who wants to build a company from zero, not complete a task list
