About Grofly
Grofly is building a hyperlocal grocery platform for Tier 1 and Tier 2 India. Instead of making people reorder groceries every few days, we're helping families automate their essential grocery orders while empowering local kirana stores and food businesses with predictable demand, recurring customers, and digital tools to grow sustainably. We're not building another quick-commerce app. We're building the operating system for recurring household essentials. We're looking for our first engineering hire, someone who helps to build a company from day one, just by writing code.
The Opportunity
As Grofly's Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work directly with the founder to design, build, and launch the MVP.
You'll have a significant influence on:

Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for
● Designing scalable system architecture
● Building secure backend APIs
● Developing cross-platform mobile applications
● Building vendor and admin dashboards
● Designing and optimizing databases
● Integrating third-party services
● Writing clean, maintainable code
● Implementing CI/CD pipelines
● Ensuring application security and performance
● Collaborating closely with the founder on product decisions
What We're Looking For
● 3–7 years of software engineering experience
● Experience shipping production-grade applications
● Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
● Experience with Flutter or React Native
● Experience with Node.js (NestJS preferred)
● Strong SQL and database design knowledge
● Experience with REST APIs
● Familiarity with AWS cloud services
● Understanding of authentication, security, and scalable architecture
● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Bonus if you've worked on
● Marketplace platforms
● Subscription products
● Logistics or delivery systems
● FinTech or payment integrations
● Early-stage startups
