Modern e-commerce stores are losing money invisibly every single day. Despite driving traffic and building beautiful storefronts, revenue leaks at every stage of the funnel. We build the intelligent layer that decides, in real time, how stores capture maximum revenue from every visitor.
And AIOD is the system that dynamically applies discounts, free gifts, bundles, and cart offers: without merchants configuring endless rules.
We’re hiring our first Founding Engineer.
Role Description
• Architect and ship core discount orchestration logic at scale
• Design systems handling stacking, exclusions, priority resolution, and edge cases
• Own backend + frontend across Shopify Admin, Theme Extensions, and Functions
• Improve performance and reliability across thousands of live stores
• Build internal tooling that increases shipping velocity
• Work directly with founder on technical direction and roadmap
Qualifications
- Strong product engineer who thinks in systems
- Experience with React / Remix / Next.js
- Strong Node.js fundamentals
- Comfortable with Postgres or similar databases
- Shopify platform experience is a plus
- Bias toward shipping over over-planning
- Ability to operate without heavy specs
You should care about correctness, speed, and business impact.
