About Stremly
Stremly is building NoX, an intelligent communication layer for Project Managers.
We automate coordination, follow-ups, context tracking, and Jira/Asana updates across Slack and Microsoft Teams.
This is not another project management tool.
We are building the execution layer that sits on top of communication.
We are looking for a founding engineer to own and build the core AI-driven system behind NoX.
The Role
As a Founding Engineer, you will:
- Build the AI-driven workflow engine powering NoX
- Design scalable Slack and Microsoft Teams bot integrations
- Build persistent context and memory systems for long-running tasks
- Develop intelligent follow-up, escalation, and prioritization logic
- Integrate deeply with Jira, Asana, and other enterprise tools
- Work closely with founders on product, AI capability, and long-term architecture
- This is primarily a backend + AI systems role. Minimal traditional frontend work. High systems ownership.
What You’ll Be Building
- An AI-powered task orchestration engine
- Context persistence layers for multi-day workflows
- Communication automation across enterprise platforms
- Secure, production-grade integrations
- Logic that handles real-world nuance in messy human workflows
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong backend engineering experience (Python / Node / similar)
- Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs and AI-driven workflows
- Ability to design scalable, distributed systems
- Experience with API integrations and bot platforms
- Strong product thinking — able to translate ambiguity into architecture
- Comfortable operating in early-stage environments
Bonus:
- Built Slack or Teams apps before
- Experience with workflow engines or async task orchestration
- Deep interest in AI reasoning, memory systems, or agent architectures
