Role Description
You will be responsible for building the foundational systems that power Valerie’s AI-driven growth and investment platform.
You will own and build the entire cloud and data infrastructure from scratch enabling scalable systems, structured data flow, and AI-driven product capabilities.
You are not here to execute predefined tasks. You are here to design, decide, and build the core architecture of a system that does not yet fully exist.
Ideal Behaviour, Qualifications & Skills
Must Have:
- 3–6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Proven experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch (0→1 systems)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design
- Experience designing and managing data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to translate high-level ideas into scalable technical architecture
Good to Have:
- Experience working in early-stage startups or 0→1 environments
- Experience enabling AI/ML systems through structured data pipelines
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization and performance tuning

- The system architecture supports scaling multiple brands and workflows without breaking
