JGV is currently raising Seed Capital and is looking for a Founding Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the leadership team.
This is not a job. This is an opportunity to build a company.
There is no requirement to invest capital.
The successful candidate will receive founder-level equity through a structured vesting plan based on long-term contribution. As JGV grows and completes future funding rounds, executive compensation will be reviewed by the Board.
Your Mission
As the Founding COO, you will work directly with the Founder & CEO to build JGV from an early-stage startup into a professionally managed, investment-ready company.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building scalable operating systems and SOPs.
Setting up manufacturing and food processing operations.
Leading procurement, supply chain and logistics.
Developing execution plans across farms, factories and processing units.
Hiring and mentoring the initial leadership team.
Establishing KPIs, dashboards and operational metrics.
Driving execution during the Seed Capital fundraising phase.
Supporting investor due diligence and board presentations.
Building partnerships with suppliers, distributors, government agencies and strategic partners.
Creating a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
Scaling the company from startup to institutional-grade operations.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining, solving problems rather than managing routine, and creating systems where none currently exist.

Location
This role is based in Guwahati, Assam.
The role will require frequent travel to JGV's farms, processing centres and partner facilities, all located within approximately two hours' driving distance from Guwahati.
Applicants should be comfortable spending significant time on the ground, working directly with rural teams, manufacturing partners and operational units.
