Numina is building an integrated ecosystem for physical spaces, focusing on how people and systems work together to make those spaces operate better. The company layers intelligence, maintenance, hospitality, and automation to improve everyday experiences wherever people live, work, learn, or gather. Numina is starting with premium residential environments, creating an operating system that reduces the cognitive load of running a household. We need a hands-on technical builder who can turn messy operational work into reliable software and automation.
You are a fit if you have personally taken an ambiguous workflow from problem definition to a working system: data model, integrations, user interface, edge cases, deployment, and iteration with real users.
The role
Build the internal operating system for a home-services workflow:
- Lead capture, qualification, booking, payments, and follow-ups.
- Customer and household records, including photos, voice notes, preferences, and service history.
- Scheduling, field instructions, quality evidence, complaints, and feedback.
- Internal dashboards and automations for customer success, operations, and finance.
- AI-assisted extraction, classification, summarisation, and decision support where it is genuinely useful.
You will work directly with non-technical operators.
You will decide what to automate, what needs a human override, and how exceptions are handled.
You should have evidence of
- A few working products, internal tools or automation you built end-to-end.
- Database design, APIs, integrations, authentication, and audit history.
- Practical AI use in a real workflow, not just chatbot or prompt demos.
- Building simple tools for non-technical users.
- Debugging failures in live systems and improving them from user feedback.
- Working independently without waiting for detailed specifications.
A portfolio, GitHub, live product, or detailed technical walkthrough is essential.
This is not for you if
- You only build websites or prototypes.
- Your AI experience is limited to courses, prompts, or demos.
- You need a product manager to translate every task into tickets.
- You want a narrow engineering role or a side project.
First 90 days
- One source of truth for leads, customers, bookings, payments, and service status.
- Structured household data capture and retrieval.
- Automated routine follow-ups and internal alerts.
- A simple operational dashboard used daily by the team.
- Clear handling for reschedules, missed messages, duplicate records, failed payments, and human overrides.
