Taxaura is an AI-powered bookkeeping and accounting platform built for small businesses. Our AI assistant, Aura, automates invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting — so business owners can stop drowning in admin and get back to doing what they love. We're pre-launch and growing fast.
About the Role
We're looking for our very first Account Executive — a hungry, self-driven sales professional who will play a foundational role in Taxaura's growth. You won't just be filling a seat; you'll be building the playbook. Your primary mission is to drive as many qualified signups to our waitlist as possible, while nurturing those relationships and keeping prospective users warm and excited for launch.
This role requires working US business hours (EST/CST/PST), as you'll be engaging directly with American small business owners, freelancers, and entrepreneurs.
What You'll Do
As our Founding AE, you'll own the top of the funnel — identifying, reaching out to, and converting prospective users into waitlist signups. You'll run outbound campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and other channels, craft personalized outreach that resonates with small business owners, and build genuine relationships with prospects so they're ready to convert when we launch. You'll track every interaction in our CRM, report on what's working, share feedback directly with the founding team, and help shape our early go-to-market strategy.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of sales, business development, or account management experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or a related space. You must have exceptional written and verbal English communication skills — your outreach is often the first impression someone has of Taxaura, so it needs to be polished, clear, and compelling. You're comfortable working independently across US time zones, you're a self-starter who tracks your own numbers and holds yourself accountable, and you genuinely get excited about technology and what AI can do for small businesses.
Compensation
This role offers an uncapped commission structure tied to waitlist signups and eventual conversions. As a founding team member, you'll also have the opportunity to grow into a senior sales role as we scale.
