Intern (Potential Full-Time Opportunity): I'm looking for an intern to be my very first employee as I am building something very exciting. Ideally you spend two months with me, then step into a full-time role. This is an incredible chance to learn every nuance of brand-building from the ground up, especially because you'll be the first hire and involved in everything.
Why Padel?
Padel is the fastest growing sport in the world. In markets like Spain, Mexico, and the UAE it's already a cultural staple. India is just getting started, and Delhi, despite being one of the country's most sport-hungry cities, has no one seriously building the community around it. That's the gap DPC exists to fill.
Why Me?
I'm a former D1 squash player (Columbia University) with a background in Architecture and Economics. I've built and wound down a D2C sports brand (Rebound; introduced spikeball to India), co-founded 'Commons', a multi-sport facility in Sec 49 Noida, and launched Delhi Padel Collective to build the community infrastructure padel in this city actually needs. I move fast, I spot whitespace, and I'll teach you how to do the same.
What's in It for You?
If you've ever wanted to see how a community brand gets built from zero, this is your front row seat.
- Hands-On Brand Building: Your ideas will directly shape how DPC shows up- events, content, partnerships, all of it
- 0→1 Experience: Get into the execution of a real brand launch, not a simulation
- High-Exposure Networking: As a core part of a tiny team, you'll build your own relationships with entrepreneurs, venue partners, sponsors, and players
- Skill & Career Growth: Own real projects — from event P&Ls to partnership decks — and learn directly from someone who's done this before
- Real Impact: Your work will be visible, measurable, and something you can genuinely speak to.
What You'll Do
Each week you'll own one primary project — a sponsorship pitch, a community growth plan, an event ops brief. You'll drive it, with me alongside. Day-to-day you'll also be in the mix on content, partnerships, community management, and whatever else the week demands. It's a generalist role at an early-stage brand — expect to learn something new every day.
The Commitment
3 days a week in-person (Delhi NCR) Rest of the week remote. This will evolve for the full-time role
