Founder’s Office Associate – Coffee Trade & Strategic Partnerships
About Us
Orchardgate LLC is building a modern coffee-sourcing and café venture that connects Indian coffee origins with global markets. From green coffee sourcing and supplier partnerships to international buyer relationships and café experiences, we are building a global coffee ecosystem from the ground up.
The role is carried out in backed by MG Resorts Private Limited (India), the parent company of Orchardgate LLC.
We are looking for someone who understands coffee not just as a product, but as an industry — someone excited by sourcing, trade relationships, quality, origins, and global market building.
Role: Founder’s Office Associate – Coffee Trade & Partnerships
This is a high-ownership role working directly with the founder across sourcing, buyer acquisition, supplier relationships, and strategic execution. You will play a critical role in helping scale our coffee trade operations and building long-term relationships across the coffee value chain.
Key Responsibilities
International Buyer Outreach
- Build and manage relationships with global coffee buyers, importers, roasters, cafés, and distributors
- Handle outbound communication, lead generation, and follow-ups
- Coordinate sample dispatches, cupping feedback, and onboarding conversations
- Maintain and optimize buyer pipelines and CRM systems
Supplier & Origin Relationship Management
- Work closely with estates, exporters, processors, and sourcing partners
- Build long-term supplier relationships across coffee-growing regions
- Coordinate sourcing timelines, quality tracking, pricing discussions, and logistics
- Understand harvest cycles, varietals, processing methods, and market positioning
Founder’s Office & Strategic Execution
- Work directly with the founder on strategic initiatives
- Assist in business development and expansion opportunities
- Support operational execution across India and US coffee activities
- Build systems, processes, and workflows from zero to one

- Has prior experience in coffee, sourcing, exports, or related industries
- Understands the coffee ecosystem and trade dynamics
- Communicates confidently and professionally with international stakeholders
- Is proactive, resourceful, and execution-oriented
- Can independently manage conversations and relationships
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
Preferred Background
Bonus if you have experience with:
- Specialty coffee sourcing or trading
- Coffee estates, exporters, or roasters
- International trade or exports
- Startup environments
- CRM, sales pipelines, or B2B partnerships
- Coffee cupping or quality evaluation
