About Galvan Labs
We're building Chiefstack — an AI chief-of-staff for Indian SMB and family business owners. Most of the people we build for run their business out of WhatsApp: vendor chats, customer escalations, payment chasers, family group decisions, and PDFs flying between screens. They don't need another dashboard. They need an intelligence layer that remembers context, drafts replies, generates documents, and quietly does the work a real chief-of-staff would do.
We're early. Small team, high agency, building fast.
The Role
Founder's Office is the role for someone who wants to do whatever the business needs that week — and get judged on outcomes, not job titles. You'll work directly with the founder across product, GTM, ops, and customer conversations. Expect to context-switch hard and own outcomes end-to-end.
This is not a rotational program or a polished APM track. It's the role for someone who wants to be in the room while we figure out 0→1, and earn a much bigger role over the next 12–18 months.
What you'll actually do
Customer discovery. Sit with shop owners, manufacturers, jewellers, clinic owners. Take notes, find patterns, translate them into product bets. Some of this is in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada — comfort with at least one is a big plus.
GTM experiments. Run pilots, design referral loops, try unscalable channels (in-person walkthroughs, WhatsApp groups, vernacular content). Measure, kill what doesn't work.
Product research and specs. Write tight one-pagers and PRDs. Build prototypes in v0, Claude, Lovable, or whatever gets you to a clickable demo fastest.
Internal ops. Hiring pipelines, vendor management, finance hygiene, investor updates. Whatever the founder shouldn't be doing themselves.
Founder leverage. Draft decks, prep for investor and customer calls, run down research threads, ship the thing that's been sitting in the backlog.
Who we're looking for
Strong written communication. You can turn a messy customer call into a one-pager an investor would read.
Comfortable with ambiguity. The brief will often be one sentence. You'll come back with a plan.
Genuinely curious about Indian SMBs and family businesses. Bonus if you've worked with or grown up around them.
Fluent with AI tools — not just ChatGPT. You know what Claude, Cursor, n8n, and a few automation stacks can do.
Bias to ship. We'd rather see a rough v1 by Friday than a polished plan in three weeks.
Nice to have
- Prior 0→1 experience (founded something, employee
1–10 at a startup, or built/sold a side project).
Working knowledge of WhatsApp Business API, CRM tools, or vernacular GTM.
Background in or exposure to manufacturing, jewellery, retail, healthcare, or services SMBs.
