Associate – Growth & Investor Relations

Role Overview
The Associate – Growth & Investor Relations will work closely with Ambak’s leadership team to drive data-backed growth insights and investor communication. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, storytelling, and execution, supporting both investor-facing narratives and internal growth initiatives. This is an ideal role for someone who has worked in a Founder’s Office, Strategy, or Business Analytics function at an early-stage or VC-backed company and is excited by ownership, ambiguity, and building from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Relations & Analytics
Track and analyze key business metrics including activation, retention, CAC, cohorts, and unit economics.
Identify trends, correlations, and leading indicators relevant for investor and board conversations.
Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and performance frameworks.
Support preparation of investor updates, board decks, quarterly reports, and pitch materials.
Assist in refining Ambak’s growth and performance narrative for external stakeholders.
2. Growth Initiatives & Execution
Work closely with the Founder and leadership team on new growth opportunities.
Take ownership of –1 to 0 and 0 to 1 initiatives, including research, planning, pilot execution, and tracking.
Collaborate with Business, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure initiatives are data-backed and outcome-driven.
Identify execution bottlenecks, structure action plans, and ensure consistent follow through.
What We’re Looking For:
2–4 years of experience in Founder’s Office, Strategy, Analytics, or a VC-backed startup (preferably early-stage)
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Excel / Google Sheets; exposure to SQL or BI tools is a plus.
Experience building investor decks, business presentations, and performance narratives.
Ability to move quickly from insight to execution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High ownership mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Preferred Skills:
Prior exposure to investor relations or fundraising.
Experience working with growth metrics in fintech, SaaS, or platform businesses.
Comfort handling research-heavy, open-ended problem statements.
