The Role
This isn't a typical "assistant" role. As Founder's Associate, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founder with a sharp tilt toward marketing, sales, and go-to-market execution — while wearing multiple hats across product, strategy, and operations. One day you're shipping a marketing campaign, the next you're cold-calling prospects to close a pilot, the day after you're drafting an investor update or setting up an automation. You'll wear many hats, and that's the point.
What You'll Do
Marketing & GTM (primary focus)
- Drive go-to-market execution across channels — LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, events, content, paid ads
- Plan and ship marketing campaigns end-to-end — copy, creative (with AI tools), distribution, measurement
- Own content velocity — social posts, case studies, sales collateral, landing pages, email newsletters
- Run competitive and market research; turn it into positioning, messaging, and sharp sales narratives
- Build and maintain the marketing stack — analytics, attribution, automation, lead routing
Sales & Pipeline (primary focus)
- Run point-of-sale cold calling — dial prospects, qualify leads, book demos, and close pilot customers yourself
- Own the outbound engine — build target lists, write cold emails and WhatsApp sequences, follow up relentlessly, track every touchpoint in the CRM
- Sit in on (and eventually run) sales demos; turn customer objections into product and positioning improvements
- Manage the pipeline end-to-end — from first contact to signed contract to onboarding handoff
Strategy & Special Projects
- Work directly with the founder on fundraising prep, investor decks, partnerships, and hiring
- Own special projects end-to-end — product launches, customer meetups, pilot rollouts, process setup
- Talk to customers constantly; translate feedback into product, pricing, and GTM decisions
Operations & The Glue
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Midjourney, etc.) daily to move 10x faster — research, content, analysis, automation
- Build operational systems and workflows using Notion, Sheets, n8n/Zapier, and modern no-code tools
- Prepare dashboards, weekly reports, and decks that drive clarity and decisions
- Coordinate across product, engineering, design, and sales to keep momentum high
- Pick up whatever needs doing — from setting up an automation to booking a venue for a client meetup. You'll wear many hats, and that's the point.
What We're Looking For
- 0–3 years of experience — startup, marketing, sales, consulting, or founder background is a bonus, but hunger matters more than pedigree
- Marketing taste + sales instinct — you can write a punchy cold email and a polished landing page, and you understand that great GTM is part craft, part hustle
- Not afraid of the phone — you can pick up a cold lead, dial, pitch, handle a "no," and dial the next one without flinching
- Genuinely tech-savvy — you're the person friends come to for tool recommendations. You try new apps and AI tools for fun
- AI-native thinker — already using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar in daily work. We don't need an engineer; we need someone who reflexively reaches for AI to move faster
- Sharp analytical thinking — you can look at a messy funnel or market and structure it quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll draft everything from cold emails and investor updates to customer proposals and ad copy
- Comfort with ambiguity — you thrive when things aren't fully defined
- "I'll figure it out" attitude — Google it, YouTube it, ask an AI, then ask a human
- Genuine curiosity about SaaS, AI, and how Indian businesses actually run and buy
- High ownership, low ego — every task matters, no challenge is too big
