Unbox Health is on a mission to bring radical transparency to what India consumes.
As India’s first ratings platform for packaged foods & health supplements, we independently lab test products, publish unbiased ratings, and help consumers make informed decisions about what they put into their bodies.
We're a small, focused team - early stage, moving fast, and building a category that hasn't existed in India until now.
THE ROLE & WHY IT MATTERS
We're looking for someone to work closely with the founder as a true partner - someone who brings their own thinking to the table, not just their bandwidth.
This role sits at the centre of the business. You'll have visibility into everything - strategy, partnerships, operations, hiring, etc - and genuine influence over how things get done. Some of your work will be about keeping the business sharp day-to-day. Some of it will be owning high-leverage projects end-to-end. Often it'll be both at once.
If you want to be close to the decisions that matter at an early-stage company doing genuinely important work - this is a rare opportunity to do exactly that.
The specific shape of the role will evolve as we do. We're looking for someone who's energised by that (not unsettled by it).
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Someone with 2–4 years of experience. We care less about the title you held and more about what you actually did. A startup or consulting background, or any role where you had to figure things out without a playbook - that's the experience we're looking for.
You're someone who:
- Is genuinely curious about health, nutrition, and consumer behaviour in India - this is a category you find interesting, not just a job title you're applying for
- Leads with ownership and follows through without prompting
- Thinks strategically about why something matters, not just what needs to get done
- Writes and communicates clearly - in documents, decks, and meetings
- Builds structure where it's needed, without overengineering it
- Has good taste - you don't need to be a designer, but you know when something looks right
- Brings your own point of view - and you aren’t afraid to share it
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In the first 6–9 months:
- You've become someone the team genuinely relies on.
- The operational rhythm of the business is stronger - things are tracked, followed up on, and moving without constant nudging.
- You've taken on at least one or two meaningful projects and driven them to real outcomes.
- And the founder has more bandwidth to focus on the things only they can do - because you've made that possible.

- You'll work directly with the founder - close to the decisions, with real influence over how things get done
- This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore. In-person matters to us.
- We're early stage - things move fast and the role will grow with you.
