Founder's Office Intern - CEO's Office
📍 Bengaluru | 3-Month Internship | ₹20,000–₹40,000/month (basis interview) | PPO on offer
At HireVed, we help early-stage and growth-stage startups build their core teams - from first hires to leadership roles. This opening is for one of our portfolio clients: a funded C2C marketplace startup backed by top institutional investors, founded by BITS Pilani & IIT Delhi alumni, and solving one of India's most undercracked commerce problems.
We're looking for one Founder's Office Intern to work directly with the CEO.
About the Company
India still doesn't have a trust-first, scaled C2C marketplace.
OLX had the money. Quikr had the money. Neither cracked it.
This team has a clear thesis on why - and they're building the answer. seed round, IIT Delhi Venture Studio-backed, moving fast.
What You'll Work On
→ Strategy & zero-to-one initiatives - first principles thinking, not framework templates
→ Marketplace growth & liquidity loops - real execution, real ownership
→ Fundraising & investor communication - MIS, reporting, investor updates, narratives
→ GTM experiments - design, run, and own the outcome
→ Product and business intersections - wherever the founders need the sharpest thinking
Who We're Looking For
Graduating in 2026 - final year, want to spend it building something that matters
Understands how investors think, what MIS looks like, how company strategy is actually made
VC firm experience is a strong plus - if you've sat in that room, you'll hit the ground running
Thinks in first principles, not borrowed playbooks
Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and zero hand-holding
Genuinely cares about India-scale commerce problems

💰 Stipend: ₹20,000–₹40,000/month - determined during interview based on your profile

This is not a typical internship. No pre-defined tasks, no structured projects handed to you. If you want a comfortable, scoped internship - this isn't it. If that made you want to apply more - it's for you.
Our Hiring Process
We don't do standard interviews for this role. Here's how it works:
Round 1 - Written Challenge (8 hours)
Four questions testing first principles thinking, marketplace reasoning, and India-specific C2C problem solving. Word limits are strict. No frameworks, no guessing what we want — just sharp, honest thinking.
Round 2 - Execution & Product (8 hours)
For shortlisted candidates only. Three challenges: a 14-day execution plan under real constraints, a trust system design for a live product problem, and an investor-ready MIS with a founder's narrative. No sub-questions, no guidance - you structure it yourself.
Round 3 - Live Conversation with the Founder
Not an interview. A 45-minute working session with the CEO on a real problem the company is currently facing. No prep possible or useful. We're looking at how you think in real time.
The process is intentionally demanding. We built it to find one person - not to fill a quota.
