Founder's Office -Growth & Strategy Intern | GydeXP
You won't be making slide decks. You'll be in the room where hotels decide to replace their reservation desk with AI -and you'll be the reason they say yes.
GydeXP is building Polaris — an AI system that replaces hotel reservation desks across voice, WhatsApp, and email. Not a chatbot. A full replacement for the 3-person team that answers booking calls, responds to inquiries, and loses revenue every time a call goes unanswered at 2 AM. We're live with paying hotels, scaling fast, and GMs who see a demo don't believe it's AI.
This is a Founder's Office role. You work directly with the CEO - no layers, no reporting chains. Strategy meets execution in real-time, and you own both.
What you'll do:
→ Own hotel acquisition from first contact to signed contract
→ Convert free pilots into paying customers using live data
→ Build and test GTM strategy - channels, positioning, messaging
→ Help prepare investor updates and track metrics that matter
A typical day looks like: calling GMs, sitting in on Polaris demos, pulling pilot data to build ROI cases, crafting follow-up emails, and debating whether to target 80-room independents or 200-room chains — then executing what you decide.
This role is NOT for you if you want a structured 9-to-5, need constant direction, or think "strategy" means making presentations. Here, strategy means closing a hotel by Friday.
What you need:
→ You execute, not just strategize
→ You think from first principles - when a hotel says no, you diagnose why
→ You're obsessed with numbers - conversion rates, CAC, pilot-to-paid %
→ You write clearly - emails to GMs, investor updates, WhatsApp follow-ups
→ Hospitality background not needed, curiosity about how hotels work is
