Founder's Office Intern
Apollo Finvest
Location: Mumbai | Type: Internship (3 months), with a fast-track Pre-Placement Offer to Full-Time
Heads up: this one's only for candidates who've already graduated, or are in their final semester final year — because three months in, we want to be making you a full-time offer.
We're hiring a Founder's Office Intern with a real shot at converting to full-time. You'll sit close to the Founder's Office, working across partnerships, growth, GTM, and marketing — including the unit economics behind every acquisition and retention call we make.
We're growing at a lightning pace, and we're looking for an entrepreneurial operator to support the Founder's Office — from scaling partnerships and capital flows to running point on Apollo Cash's growth and GTM. This is the best seat in the house to learn how digital lending actually gets built.
About Apollo Finvest
We are a publicly listed, tech-first NBFC — think AWS, but for lending. Armed with advanced APIs and capital, we team up with the best fintechs to offer digital loans across the country. It's where finance meets tech, with a splash of innovation. And now we've gone direct-to-consumer too, with Apollo Cash, our B2C lending app.
It's a high-ownership role: you'll work directly with the founder's office and run day-to-day execution on the initiatives that actually move the needle.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships & Capital
- Support the building & scaling of partnerships with fintechs, NBFCs, and capital providers and third-party service providers.
- Help source, evaluate & onboard partners — fintechs and investors — while building strong networks across the fintech ecosystem.
- Assist in financial storytelling: help prepare proposals, business models, projections, investor decks, and fundraising material.
- Coordinate with Legal/Compliance on MSAs and co-lending agreements, and other contracts.
Growth, GTM & Marketing
- Build out distribution partnerships and turn that into a real distribution plan: new marketplaces, affiliates, and channels beyond what's already live.
- Get into the unit economics — CAC and NIM, and use it to shape channel and pricing calls.
- Run market research and industry benchmarking, and turn that into actionable insights.
- Build and maintain the dashboards we run growth off of, and turn the numbers into an actual recommendation, not just a chart.
Strategy and Execution
- Track market & regulatory trends (RBI guidelines, competitor activity, new products) to inform strategy.
- Help run multi-stakeholder work streams: structured follow-ups, MoMs, timely execution across teams and pipeline ownership.
- Work through complex, open-ended business problems with structured analysis and clear recommendations for leadership.
- Help shape the hiring strategy — figure out what good looks like for each seat, and help bring in the people who'll raise the bar as the team scales.
Key Requirements
- Already graduated, or in your final semester/final year, and able to join us full-time right after the 3-month internship — this one's non-negotiable.
- Strong academics, or some other clear evidence of grit — a selective program, a tough exam cleared, a standout project, whatever your version of that is.
- Sharp communication and stakeholder instincts — you'll be talking to founders, external partners, and internal teams from week one, not just observing.
- Comfortable with numbers — Excel/Sheets, unit economics, basic models — and can put together a clean deck.
- Bias to action: comfortable making decisions with incomplete data and working in a high-velocity environment.
- Bonus: prior experience in fintech, consulting, PE, VC, or just a solid startup internship under your belt.
Why Join Us?
- A real, fast path to a full-time offer — not a “let's see how it goes” internship.
- Work closely with the Founder's Office and Founders: Mikhil Innani, former co-founder of PharmEasy and ex-Product Head at Hotstar, and Diksha Nangia, former HDFC veteran and CFA Charterholder.
- Best of both worlds: startup energy + listed company stability.
- A stipend now, and full-time comp the moment you convert.
- You'll be in the room for partner conversations, investor calls and regulatory decisions from week one — not just taking notes.
