ABOUT INCOMMON
Founded in 2023 and backed by Better Capital, InCommon helps global companies build exceptional teams in India. We work with Series A+ funded startups and PE-backed firms, helping them hire the best talent, set up India entities, and operate compliantly — end to end. We're already profitable, we've completed our 0-to-1 journey, and we're now building the systems to go from 1 to 10.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
GTM at InCommon is founder-led today. That's meant staying close to clients and staying honest about what we are. But we're at the point where one person can't hold all the threads — the outreach, the proposals, the follow-ups, the research, the experiments.
We need someone who picks those threads up without being asked, and runs with them. Someone who brings structure to the motion we've already started, and helps us figure out what comes next.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
GTM strategy & thinking
- Work with the founder to define and refine InCommon's go-to-market approach — ICP, positioning, channels, and sequencing.
- Conduct competitor and market research to sharpen how we show up against alternatives.
- Build and iterate on the GTM plan as we test new segments and geographies.
- Use AI tools to surface insights, test hypotheses, and compress research cycles.
Sales support & pipeline
- Prepare call prep notes, proposals, and pitch materials for every prospect conversation.
- Own CRM hygiene — leads, stages, follow-up cadences, and reporting.
- Follow up with leads so nothing falls through the cracks between conversations.
- Draft outreach sequences, email copy, and LinkedIn messages that actually convert.
Partnerships & advisory
- Manage InCommon's advisor programme — onboarding, communication, and activation.
- Coordinate with agencies and external partners overseeing GTM execution.
- Track deliverables and hold external stakeholders accountable to timelines.
Content & narrative
- Help shape InCommon's outward voice — decks, one-pagers, LinkedIn content, and campaign briefs.
- Turn founder thinking into structured, shareable assets.
- Support inbound GTM motion by working with content and agency teams on execution.
HOW WE'LL MEASURE YOU
- Speed of execution — ideas move to action without delay.
- Data-driven GTM — every experiment has a hypothesis, a metric, and a result.
- Nothing slips — leads, follow-ups, and commitments are tracked and closed.
- KPI visibility — you own the dashboard that tells us what's working and what isn't.
WHO YOU ARE
- 1–3 years in B2B sales, consulting, strategy, or a founder's office environment.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and don't need a playbook to take the first step.
- You think in systems — if something breaks twice, you fix the process.
- You know how to build systems with Claude — AI is part of how you work, not an afterthought.
- You're excited by the 1-to-10 stage — messy, fast, and consequential.
- Familiarity with CRM & Outreach tools — HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, or similar.
