About the Role
This is a Founder's Office role — a generalist horizontal role, not a standard internship.
You work directly with the founder across finance, tax, strategic, operational, experimental, and high-stakes projects.
If you want a role that compresses 2–3 years of experience and learning into six months, this is that role. And you can ask this to quite a few interns who walked the same path and joined us full-time eventually as well.

About the Role
You will help leadership own the company's books & finance end to end. This is a full-stack accounting and finance role at an early-stage company — you'll build the finance function rather than inherit one. You will report directly to the founders.
What You'll Do
- Own full-book accounting: ledgers, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, month-end close
- Run payroll end to end, including contractor payments and statutory deductions
- Handle GST, TDS, PF/ESI filings and coordinate with external CAs/consultants for compliance and audit
- Manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and cash-flow tracking
- Build and maintain MIS: monthly P&L, budget vs. actuals, unit costs, burn tracking
- Set up internal financial controls, approval workflows, and documentation as we scale
- Support founders with ad-hoc analysis (pricing, costing, vendor decisions)
Must-Haves
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on accounting experience — you have personally closed books, not just reviewed them
- Strong working knowledge of Tally/Zoho Books (or similar), GST, and TDS
- Experience in a startup, SME, or manufacturing environment where you handled multiple finance functions simultaneously
- High ownership — comfortable being the only finance person in the building
- Preferred if you come from an E-COMMERCE STARTUP - so get our attention asap!!
MBA graduates are preferred.
