About the Company
Sneakare is a New Delhi - based, fastest-growing sneaker care brand, built for people who genuinely love what they are wearing on their feet. We market premium, no-nonsense products — cleaning kits, insoles, suede care, and storage solutions — designed to help sneaker fans protect what they paid for and wear what they love, longer. We started small, made it to Shark Tank India, and haven't slowed down since. Our team is young, fast-moving, and obsessed with getting things right — whether that's a product formula, a listing copy, or a customer interaction. We care about quality over shortcuts, ownership over excuses, and learning over ego.
Role Overview:
Sneakare is building India’s go-to sneaker care brand — and scaling rapidly. As we grow our D2C presence, we’re looking for someone to work directly with the founder and help make sense of the market before it moves.
This is a Founder’s Office role for a top-tier MBA graduate, designed for someone who is both highly analytical and deeply curious. You will operate as an extension of the founder — owning the intelligence layer of the business and influencing decisions across product, pricing, marketing, and growth.
You will be expected to convert ambiguity into clarity, connect disparate signals, and drive high-impact decisions. This is not a support role — you will own outcomes end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer & Category Intelligence
1. Decode customer behaviour across D2C channels — identify drivers of acquisition, conversion, drop-offs, and retention.
2. Go beyond structured data — mine reviews, DMs, returns, and post-purchase signals to uncover real customer sentiment.
3. Map the sneaker care and adjacent lifestyle categories end-to-end: market size, growth levers, unmet needs, and emerging segments.
4. Track cultural and behavioural trends in sneaker and streetwear ecosystems and translate them into actionable opportunities for Sneakare.
Competitive & Market Landscape:
1. Build and own a high-signal competitive intelligence engine covering pricing, product, GTM, content, and distribution.
2. Benchmark against Indian and global D2C brands — identify replicable playbooks and contextualize them for India.
3. Identify gaps and arbitrage opportunities across products, channels, and brand positioning.
4. Track marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, Myntra, quick commerce) for real-time category shifts, new entrants, and pricing signals.
Strategy & Founder Support:
1. Convert fragmented inputs into sharp, structured outputs — one-pagers, memos, and decision frameworks for the founder.
2. Support new product and category decisions through structured analysis (market sizing, validation, competitive benchmarking, GTM thinking).
3. Partner with marketing to refine messaging, identify content opportunities, and understand cohort-level behaviour.
4. Act as a cross-functional integrator — ensuring product, marketing, and operations align with market insights.
Project Management & Execution
1. Own and drive strategic projects end-to-end (category launches, pricing studies, growth experiments) with clear outputs and timelines.
2. Build dashboards and tracking systems to keep leadership updated on key metrics and market movements.
3. Coordinate across teams to drive execution without dependency or constant direction.
4. Create scalable systems and documentation to ensure intelligence is repeatable and actionable.
Requirements:
1. MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIM ABC/L, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, or equivalent).
2. 0–1 years of experience (freshers with strong internships or live projects preferred).
3. Strong grounding in strategy, marketing, or analytics with exposure to problem-solving in high-ambiguity environments.
4. Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct research, and synthesize insights clearly.
5. Excellent communication skills — ability to distill complexity into sharp, executive-ready narratives.
6. High ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage multiple high-priority workstreams.
7. Proficiency with tools like Notion, Google Sheets, Airtable, Asana, or similar.
8. Strong analytical thinking with a bias for action in fast-paced, low-structure environments.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience in D2C brands, consulting, product, or high-growth startups (internships or full-time).
2. Exposure to market research, consumer insights, or growth strategy projects.
3. Interest or familiarity with sneaker culture, lifestyle retail, or consumer behaviour.
4. Participation in case competitions, consulting clubs, or strategy projects during MBA.
5. Working knowledge of SQL, Excel modelling, or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
