One year ago, a brand spending ₹10L/month on Meta needed around 20 ads a month.
Today?
They need 60.
Not because marketers became stupid.
Not because brands suddenly enjoy burning money.
But because attention has collapsed.
Creative fatigue is faster.
Competition is brutal.
And the market now rewards speed as much as skill.
Which means agencies have two choices:
- Build systems that help great creatives produce faster.
- Die slowly while talking about “craft.”
At Porcellia, we’ve realized something uncomfortable:
A year ago, our average copywriter was writing 6-8 pieces of copy a day.
Today, despite AI, better tools, and better systems…
they’re still writing 6-8.
But the market now demands 3x output.
That gap?
That’s the problem we’re trying to solve.
And strangely enough, the biggest resistance isn’t technical.
It’s emotional.
A lot of copywriters secretly feel using AI somehow “cheapens” the work.
Like getting help from AI makes them less creative.
Less original.
Less valuable.
We think that’s nonsense.
Because the market does not care how spiritually connected you felt while writing a headline.
The market cares whether the ad works.
And the copywriters who win over the next 5 years will not be the ones typing the fastest.
They’ll be the ones who know:
- what to say
- what not to say
- what AI should generate
- what AI should never touch
- and how to turn one insight into 50 high-quality creative variations without losing strategic sharpness.
That is who we are looking for.
Not an “AI guy.”
Not a prompt engineer.
Not someone who discovered copywriting 8 months ago through Twitter threads and ChatGPT screenshots.
We are looking for a real copywriter.
Someone who has already spent thousands of hours suffering through the hard part manually.
Someone who has written enough bad ads to recognize good ads instantly.
Someone who understands persuasion deeply enough to know when AI is producing brilliance…
and when it’s producing beautifully formatted garbage.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hardcore agency copywriting experience
- Preferably from agencies like Ogilvy, Schbang, Talented, Zoo Media, or equivalent high-performance creative environments
- Strong direct-response and performance marketing understanding
- Must have written large volumes of Meta ads
- Must understand hooks, angles, mechanisms, offers, objections, and buyer psychology deeply
- Must be comfortable working at unreasonable speed without emotional breakdowns
- Must know how to think strategically - not just write pretty lines
And most importantly:
You should have done enough copywriting without AI to understand why AI alone is not enough.
Because if you don’t understand copy deeply already, you will not know when AI is lying to you.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
This is not a “write captions and chill” role.
You’ll work closely with the founder’s office to help us solve one core problem:
“How do we dramatically increase creative output without dramatically reducing quality?”
You’ll help build:
- AI-assisted copy systems
- creative workflows
- angle-generation processes
- ad iteration pipelines
- faster research frameworks
- better creative testing velocity
You’ll work on:
- Meta ads
- landing pages
- hooks
- VSL structures
- email marketing
- performance scripts
- founder-led content
- and creative systems most agencies still haven’t figured out yet
Some days you’ll write.
Some days you’ll think.
Some days you’ll break our entire workflow and rebuild it better.
This Role Is Probably NOT For You If
- You think AI is “cheating”
- You call yourself a “prompt engineer”
- You’ve never worked under real performance pressure
- You think good copy is just clever writing
- You need 4 hours and a matcha latte to write 3 headlines
- Your portfolio is full of pretty branding work with no measurable outcomes
- You learned copywriting from reels
This Role IS For You If
- You genuinely love the craft of persuasion
- You obsess over why certain ads work
- You think faster than most people execute
- You’re excited by systems, leverage, and scale
- You want to help shape what the next generation of creative work looks like
- You understand that AI does not replace taste - it amplifies it
Compensation
Very competitive.
(We’re the highest paying agency in the country for copywriters right now, with our median salary being 10LPA. But if you are working for a consumer/ Saas brand and want us to match that level of pay - this may not be the right fit.)
More importantly:
You’ll get to work on one of the most important problems modern agencies are facing right now.
And if we solve this problem well, the upside is enormous.
