We are looking for a Founder's Associate to work directly with the Director and Managing Director on the projects, decisions, and day-to-day execution that shape where Alltex goes next. This is part executive assistant, part analyst, and part chief of staff in training. The job is to make the leadership team materially more effective by running their calendars and inboxes with care and by owning real research, process, and stakeholder work alongside that. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution. You will keep the Director's day moving. You will identify what is broken inside the company and help fix it. You will research opportunities the business has not yet pursued and turn them into briefs we can act on. You will manage external relationships and internal context across the desk. The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following
Calendar, Inbox, and Office Management:
- Own the Director's calendar end to end. Hold the line on priorities, protect deep-work time, and keep the day running on schedule.
- Manage inbox and WhatsApp triage for the Director. Sort what needs a reply today, what needs context first, and what can wait.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel: flights, hotels, visas, ground logistics, and itineraries that hold up when plans change.
- Run meeting logistics: invites, dial-ins, agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up notes. No meeting should be a meeting nobody prepared for.
- Manage visitor coordination, vendor scheduling, and the small operational details that keep an office working.
- Be the Director's second brain on commitments and follow-ups. Nothing slips.
Process And Operations
- Identify inefficiencies across the trade desk, operations, accounts, and admin functions. Propose fixes. Work with the relevant team to put them in place.
- Audit how work moves through the company today and where it gets stuck.
- Help roll out new systems and tools as we modernize. This includes the HRMS, internal communication tools, document management, and trade workflow automation.
Research And Strategy
- Build research briefs on new product categories, new geographies, and new business opportunities the leadership team is evaluating.
- Map competitors, suppliers, and customers across the segments we are scaling into.
- Run pricing, margin, and supplier diligence analyses to support sourcing and trade decisions.
- Translate research into clear decision documents the Director and MD can act on.
Stakeholder And Relationship Management
- Manage external context for the Director and the MD: vendor relationships, client conversations, partner introductions, and follow-ups.
- Sit in on key internal and external meetings. Capture context, action items, and follow-through.
- Bridge the leadership team and the wider organization as new policies and processes roll out.
- Pick up special projects as they come up. There will be many.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of full-time work experience post your most recent qualifying degree.
- MBA from a recognized institute, CA, or another strong analytical degree (BBA, B. Com Hons., Economics, or Engineering with a business interest).
- Strong written and spoken English. Fluent Hindi for external conversations. Gujarati is a plus, not a requirement.
- Comfort with Excel, PowerPoint, and a willingness to learn whatever tool the work demands.
- Curiosity and structured thinking. You should be able to break a vague question into something researchable.
- A bias to action. You finish what you start, and you ask before you wait.
- Operational reliability. You are the kind of person who never lets a calendar conflict, a missed follow-up, or an unbooked ticket become someone else's problem.
- Willingness to operate inside a traditional family business with the patience that requires.
- Comfort with Surat as a living location for at least the next two to three years.
