About the Role
Lucidity is looking for a high-agency Founder’s Office Manager who will work directly with the Tech Founder to drive execution across the company’s most critical priorities.
This is not a function-specific role. It is a force-multiplier role.
You will operate at the intersection of technology, product, data, execution, and business, owning whatever matters most right now, from shipping half-baked ideas to fixing visibility gaps, driving automation, unblocking teams, and ensuring founder intent turns into company-wide execution.
If you need predictability, fixed KRAs, or a clean scope, this role is not for you.
If you want to learn how companies are actually built, this is front-row access.
What You’ll Do (Roles & Responsibilities)
1. Founder Leverage & Execution
- Act as an extension of the Tech Founder, owning execution of high-priority initiatives across engineering, product, growth, ops, and finance.
- Translate founder intent, ideas, and strategy into concrete action plans and outcomes.
- Take vague, half-formed ideas and turn them into shipped outcomes.
2. Tech, Product & Engineering Support
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to track execution, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Assist in technical problem-solving when growth, customer success, or ops teams hit a wall.
- Build quick tools, scripts, automations, or dashboards when needed (yes, hands-on).
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and speed.
3. Data, Insights & Visibility
- Own founder-level visibility across business and engineering metrics.
- Build, automate, and maintain dashboards, reports, and trackers across product, revenue, delivery, and ops.
- Analyze messy data, identify signals, and surface insights that drive decision-making.
- Ensure numbers are accurate, timely, and actionable and no vanity reporting.
4. Cross-Functional Projects & Operations
- Lead and execute cross-functional strategic projects spanning engineering, CS, HR, finance, and operations.
- Drive process improvements and automation to reduce drag and manual work.
- Step into chaos, bring structure where needed, and move fast where momentum is blocked.
- Be comfortable context-switching.
What Success Looks Like
- Founder bandwidth goes up as company velocity goes up.
- Ideas don’t die in Notion or Slack but they get shipped.
- Teams are unblocked faster.
- Data is trusted, visible, and decision-ready.
- The company moves faster because you exist.
What Kind of Person Thrives Here
- You’re action- biased and resourceful; things either move forward or you clearly flag what’s blocking them.
- You’re comfortable operating without a map, unclear problems energize you more than they stress you out.
- When execution needs hands-on effort, you jump in whether that’s building something quick, automating a workflow, or debugging a problem.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- (MBA or Master’s is a plus) from Tier-1 College
- 3–5 years of experience doing real work,- building, shipping, selling, fixing, or operating.
- Prior experience in early-stage startups, Founder’s Office, consulting, VC, or high-ambiguity roles.
- Good to have hands-on experience with coding (any OOP language) and comfort with technical systems and understanding of engineering fundamentals and SDLC.
- Excellent analytical skills; strong command over Excel / Sheets / data tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools and fast execution workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, founders, and business teams.
