As per the latest McKinsey Consumer Insights report https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/consumer-packaged-goods/our-insights/what-consumer-packaged-goods-companies-can-learn-from-disruptor-brands, the Nutraceutical Industry is set to witness the highest growth and is right now the biggest opportunity for new-age brands. The acquisition of the Indian D2C brand Well-being Nutrition by USV Pharmaceuticals in a 1500 crore deal is a testimony to this trend.
The Role
This is not a conventional internship; it’s about laying a strong foundation for the next decade and an opportunity to become a part of Catalytic at an early stage. This role will push your cognitive and analytical thinking to its limits, helping you break past your current boundaries. It won’t just test your abilities — it will help you discover strengths you didn’t know you had.
You’ll be expected to challenge existing industry norms and bring original thinking by leveraging the ongoing AI revolution.
Breakthrough ideas, backed by accountability and execution, are at the core of this role. Think like a founder without worrying about the funds, at least you won’t have to arrange for it :)
You’ll work directly with the founder on whatever moves the company forward, including:
- Marketing experiments & content execution
- Product launches & brand building
- Vendor coordination & partnerships
- Website, funnels, and growth initiatives
- Research (ingredients, competitors, consumer behaviour)
- Day-to-day operational problem-solving
Some days you’ll think strategy.
Some days you’ll execute relentlessly.
If you enjoy figuring things out instead of waiting for instructions — you’ll thrive here.

- You genuinely resonate with what we’re building
- You have a strong bias for action and can handle uncertainty
- You question the status quo and bring original thinking
- You feel underutilised in your current environment
- You’re curious about business, health, marketing, branding, or startups
- You take ownership ,not just instructions
- You care about details and execute with intent
- You can operate without constant hand-holding
- You’re willing to commit seriously, not casually
What You’ll Gain
- Direct exposure to building a premium D2C brand from the ground up
- Hands-on learning across marketing, product, operations, and strategy
- Close working relationship with the founder
- Ownership from Day 1
- A steep, real-world learning curve
If you perform, this can evolve into a full-time role with long-term upside (including equity).
