Hiresha's World of Mushrooms (HWOM) by Han Agrocare is a pioneering initiative focused on building women-led rural bioeconomies by empowering women to own medicinal mushroom micro-enterprises. By working alongside Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and womenโs cooperatives, HWOM establishes micro-farm clusters with training programs, assured buy-back agreements, shared processing facilities, and direct market linkages, ensuring sustainable, dignified income for rural communities. Utilizing advanced technologies like GIS-based planning and climate-smart cultivation, HWOM develops high-quality, traceable supply chains for domestically and internationally demanded medicinal mushrooms. These efforts contribute to transforming women from laborers into enterprise owners, fostering regenerative local economies and aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
