About the Role
We're looking for a Growth & Sales Associate to own revenue growth and business development for GutIQ. You'll work in the founder's office, managing outbound sales, qualifying leads, closing deals, and driving revenue. You'll work directly with the founder, doctors, and coaches to understand customer needs and build a sustainable sales motion.
This is a revenue-owned role. You're responsible for the full sales cycle—from first outreach to closing deals. You'll be measured on results, not activity.

What's Exciting About This Role
You own the revenue. There's no "handoff to someone else to close"—you're managing the full funnel. You'll build the sales motion from scratch, test what works, optimize based on data, and see the direct impact of your work on company growth.
You'll also work directly with the founder on strategy—understanding market positioning, customer problems, and how to scale. You'll have autonomy to make decisions and try new approaches. And if you hit targets, you'll see the financial upside directly.
This is for someone who wants to build a sales engine, not follow a playbook.
Responsibilities
Outbound Sales & Business Development
- Build and execute cold outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone, messaging)
- Qualify leads and identify genuine buyer signals
- Schedule discovery consultations with our medical experts
- Follow up with leads after consultations and close them into our programs
- Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing
Revenue Ownership
- Own monthly/quarterly revenue targets
- Track metrics: outreach, response rates, meetings booked, closes, revenue
- Optimize messaging and approach based on what's working
- Report weekly on funnel health and conversion rates
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion and close rate
Strategic Growth
- Understand customer problems and what drives buying decisions
- Propose improvements to sales approach and positioning
- Test new channels, messaging, or strategies
- Work with founder and doctors to refine our value proposition
- Build systems and processes that scale
Collaboration
- Coordinate with doctors on consultation scheduling and follow-up
- Work with founder on strategy and priorities
- Provide customer feedback to shape product and messaging
- Support special initiatives (launches, partnerships, fundraising)

Experience
- Approx 2-5 years in B2C sales, business development, or direct sales
- Proven track record with cold outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Experience closing deals in high-ticket B2C
- Comfort with CRM and sales tools
- Ideally: Sales experience in health, coaching, wellness, or consulting space (not required)
