Software Engineer - Computer Vision

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help us push the boundaries of computer vision. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative computer vision algorithms and applications that will power the next generation of Fotokite's aerial imaging and analytics solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing computer vision algorithms for object detection, object tracking, semantic segmentation, and 3D reconstruction - Integrating computer vision capabilities into Fotokite's software stack and ensuring optimal performance and reliability - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize new computer vision use cases - Continuously staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning - Contributing to the technical roadmap and helping shape the future of Fotokite's computer vision capabilities Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in computer vision, image processing, or a related field - Strong background in machine learning, with proficiency in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras - Excellent programming skills in C++, Python, or other relevant languages - Experience in working with computer vision libraries and toolkits like OpenCV, PCL, or VTK - Familiarity with sensor fusion techniques and multi-modal data processing - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently - Passion for cutting-edge technology and a desire to push the boundaries of computer vision Bonus skills: - Experience in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or robotics applications - Knowledge of SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithms - Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time processing - Proficiency in software engineering best practices and agile methodologies
