Front-end developer (iOS) with a heart for technology and user experience

FotMob is one of the world's most used football platforms, with over 20 million active users and a sky-high app rating. We are now looking for a front-end developer who cares about details, good craftsmanship and technology that matters to people, whether you are at the beginning of your career or have many years of experience. You don't have to be a football fan to enjoy working with us, but you should enjoy building products that people care about. Who are we? FotMob delivers live data, statistics and insights to football fans around the world. Although we are best known for sports, we are first and foremost a product and technology driven company. We build everything ourselves and are committed to good craftsmanship, whether it's backend, design or user experience. We are over 30 people, based in Bergen, and have grown into a global product with local roots. Many of us have a solid theoretical background and a keen interest in details, and we enjoy challenging and lifting each other up professionally. What do you want to work on? You will work closely with design and product to build an app that is fast, intuitive and easy to use. We're looking for someone with frontend experience, whether you come from web, mobile, or something completely different. The most important thing is that you care about user experience and enjoy making things that work properly. The role focuses on iOS, and we tailor responsibilities based on experience. You may have the opportunity to specialize, lead development of new features, or contribute broadly across the stack. Typical tasks: Further develop and maintain FotMob with a focus on performance, stability and UX Work closely with designers and backend developers to shape solutions that work holistically Contribute to technical discussions and code quality (PRs, reviews, tests) Ensure that solutions follow modern principles of accessibility and universal design We are looking for you as: Writes clean, testable and maintainable code Have experience with modern frontend technology (React, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, you don't need to know them all!) Are curious about new technologies and platforms Is structured, professionally strong and enjoys good craftsmanship Thrives both in a team and taking responsibility on your own You have experience with frontend or app development, maybe 2 years, maybe 10. The most important thing is that you are confident in working independently and want to develop further with us.
