Role Details:

As an FDE, you’ll sit at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering, deploying AI agents into mission-critical enterprise workflows. You’ll work hands-on with customers to design, integrate, and scale AI agents that deliver measurable business outcomes. This role is high ownership, high ambiguity, and very high impact.
If you love writing prompts, debugging AI behavior, thinking deeply about system design, and watching AI agents succeed (or fail) in the wild this role is for you.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll directly shape:
- How enterprises adopt and trust AI agents in production
- How voice and chat agents perform in real, mission-critical workflows to deliver tangible business value, not hype
- How quickly customers move from PoC → scaled rollout
- How the platform evolves based on real usage, edge cases, and failure modes
What You’ll Do
- Identify high-leverage AI agent use cases across support, sales, operations, and automation
- Design and deploy end-to-end AI agent systems across voice, chat and general purpose
- Craft and iterate on prompts, tools, memory, state, routing, guardrails, and fallbacks
- Solution Architecture & Integrations with CRMs, ticketing tools, telephony systems, internal APIs, and data sources
- Own deployments end-to-end for strategic customers
- Act as the voice of the field for core product teams and present results and recommendations to engineers, product teams, and senior stakeholders
What You Bring
- 1-3 years experience as an AI/ML engineer working with customers in a technical, solutions-oriented role (Solutions Engineering, FDE, Product Engineering, Consulting, etc.)
- Comfort collaborating with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Python and APIs for prototyping and integrations
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, conversational systems, or workflow automation
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous problems
- A strong Ownership mindset and willingness to iterate directly with users - you take things from idea to production
- Excellent communication skills, especially explaining complex systems simply
