About the role

Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Director of Technology Strategy to lead key areas of planning and execution across our R&D organization. This role will be instrumental in shaping our long-term technology roadmap, managing key vendor and technology partnerships, and driving initiatives that enhance technical onboarding, talent development, and organizational agility. Key Responsibilities: Technology Roadmap and Execution Evolve the R&D technology roadmap in alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate cross-functionally to remove execution barriers and manage technical interdependencies. Drive high-impact technical initiatives to accelerate development and scale engineering capabilities. Strategic Planning and Measurement Optimize resource allocation to ensure delivery on product roadmap priorities. Define and manage key KPIs to track execution efficiency, product quality, and strategic impact. Vendor and Technology Partner Management Evaluate, select, and manage strategic technology vendors and partners. Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and collaboration frameworks. Ensure external partnerships align with internal capabilities and long-term goals. Talent and Team Development Collaborate on technical hiring strategies and build diverse talent pipelines. Design onboarding, mentorship, and career development programs for technical roles. Monitor retention and engagement to foster a high-performing engineering culture. Communication and Change Management Translate complex technical strategies into clear, actionable plans for diverse stakeholders. Drive change management initiatives to support technology transformation and adoption. Facilitate cross-functional alignment through strategic planning sessions and executive briefings. Qualifications: Education and Experience 10+ years of experience in technology leadership in strategic or R&D-focused roles. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven Capabilities Track record of building and executing technology roadmaps. Strong experience managing vendor relationships and external partnerships. Proficient with agile R&D methodologies and product development cycles. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and change management skills. Deep understanding of technical talent development and organizational design.
