Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Formwork Engineer at our Chennai office. The Formwork Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing aluminum formwork systems for construction projects. Key responsibilities include conducting structural analysis, preparing formwork drawings, coordinating with project teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting with the implementation of formwork designs on-site. The role requires technical expertise and close collaboration with internal teams and clients to deliver efficient and innovative engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in formwork design, structural analysis, and engineering principles
- Competence in CAD software, drafting, and preparing detailed formwork drawings
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for construction
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to offer innovative engineering solutions
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Prior experience in formwork design/engineering is advantageous
