Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Forklift Operator at the Renault Nissan Automotive plant in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently handling and transporting materials, performing loading and unloading tasks, assisting in packing operations, and utilizing forklifts in a safe and effective manner. The role also involves collaborating with shipping and receiving teams to ensure smooth workflows and accurate inventory handling.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation and Material Handling
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving and Unloading processes
- Knowledge of Packing and related logistics tasks
- Attention to safety and adherence to workplace guidelines
- Physical fitness to handle movement and material tasks
- Prior certifications in forklift operations or similar equipment are highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
