Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Forklift Operator based in Kolkata. Responsibilities include efficiently operating forklifts to move and position materials, assisting in shipping and receiving tasks, handling and storing goods, unloading deliveries, and ensuring proper packing of materials. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and maintaining an organized and secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation with a strong understanding of operational safety
- Experience in Shipping & Receiving processes
- Skilled in Unloading and Material Handling tasks
- Knowledge of packaging techniques and Packing materials
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workplace
- High physical fitness level to manage manual tasks effectively
- Certification in forklift operation is highly preferred
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus
