Role : Data Scientist

Job Description: We are seeking a founding Data Scientist / AI Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our innovative startup. As a key member of our core team, you will be instrumental in developing and productionizing AI solutions powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). We're looking for a highly skilled individual capable of working with cutting-edge technologies such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Langchain, and various LLM platforms. Your role will involve creating robust, scalable AI agents and ensuring their seamless deployment via APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced AI systems using RAG, Langchain, and LLMs, with a focus on building autonomous agents.
• Develop and optimize AI solutions using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic's Claude, or Google's Gemini.
• Create production-ready AI models and ensure their successful deployment and integration via APIs.
• Build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI model training and inference.
• Develop POCs (Proof of Concepts) and rapidly iterate based on feedback to refine our AI-driven products.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of AI/ML advancements and incorporate new technologies into our product roadmap.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with a focus on NLP and LLMs.
• Strong expertise in RAG, Langchain, and building AI agents using LLMs.
• Proven experience in productionizing AI models and deploying them via APIs.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, with experience in AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI model deployment and scaling.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Experience with database technologies and data engineering for AI applications.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects from conception to production in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building and deploying conversational AI or autonomous agents.
• Familiarity with vector databases and efficient retrieval methods for RAG systems.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, safety, and responsible AI development practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and API design.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications in the field of NLP/LLMs.
