Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
• Use GPDS and Global Craftsmanship processes, knowledge and timing to implement Ford Craftsmanship Requirements into new products.
• Prepare and cascade targets and roadmaps for craftsmanship programs at the vehicle, system, and part level and ensure they are agreed to by key stakeholders and ensure agreed targets are implemented.
• Create craftsmanship CAD sections and take the lead in having them implemented.
• Develop a high level of knowledge of craftsmanship, tooling, manufacturing and assembly technology, haptics and consumer mindset and apply to target setting and implementation.
• Support program gateway reviews by collecting data and preparing and presenting summaries
• Support builds by auditing the vehicles, identifying issues & championing fixes from VP to J1.
• Support Fit To Nominal processes, by confirming parts meet craftsmanship margin and flushness targets. Give guidance to suppliers and sign off in preparation for OK to Grain.

Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, or Degree in Industrial Design or Technical qualifications with suitable experience
