Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Technologist specializing in Quality Control, located in Chennai. The Food Technologist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, monitoring production processes, conducting sensory evaluations, and performing laboratory tests. Additional responsibilities include contributing to research and development (R&D) for new snack innovations and implementing improvements to existing products in compliance with food industry standards.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation and understanding food quality parameters
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Food Technology and related processes
  • Hands-on Laboratory Skills and familiarity with food testing equipment
  • Batch testing of products for moisture, preservatives, colors, pathogens, etc
  • Experience in Quality Control and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Knowledge of Research and Development (R&D) for product improvement and innovation
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
  • Some experience in the snack or food manufacturing industry is preferred
