Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role based at Nidhaana in Bengaluru. The Food Server will greet guests warmly, present menus, provide information about food and beverage offerings, and take accurate orders. They will serve food and drinks promptly, ensure table settings are clean and inviting, and respond to guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner. The role includes coordinating with the kitchen team, checking orders for accuracy, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area. The Food Server will process billing, handle payments, and support café operations during peak hours while upholding Nidhaana’s focus on mindful, welcoming guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with diverse guests.
- Experience or familiarity with food service and food & beverage operations in a café or restaurant setting.
- Basic cooking or kitchen-assistance skills are an advantage, including understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru, with flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak hours as needed.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude aligned with a health and wellness–focused environment.
- Previous experience as a server, café staff, or in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
