Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Food Production Faculty based in Ahmedabad. The role involves teaching and training students in the principles and practices of professional food production. Responsibilities include curating course content, delivering lectures and practical sessions, assessing student performance, and mentoring students to enhance their skills in culinary arts and operational efficiency. The faculty member will also be expected to stay updated with industry trends and collaborate with colleagues to maintain the highest standards of hospitality education.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with 5-star hotels in India or InternationallyStrong expertise in culinary arts, food production techniques, and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of culinary operations and food production
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for mentoring future hospitality professionals
- Ability to mentor and motivate students to achieve professional success
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in senior kitchen roles, is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a relevant field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications would be a plus
