Commercial Director

About the role

Food People are working with a leading FMCG business in their search for a Commercial Director. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the commercial strategy across the region for the Foodservice business. You will be driving the commercial expansion, team integration and engaging with large Horeca accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial strategy across the region for the Foodservice business
• Drive team reorganisation, unifying commercial teams across both markets under a centralised structure
• Play a key role in developing short and long-term growth strategies, particularly with focus on expanding market share in Saudi Arabia
• Engage closely with large foodservice clients across both domestic and international markets
• Oversee sales targets, pricing strategies, and key account performance to ensure revenue objectives are met
• Take full responsibility for the profit and loss of commercial operations, ensuring efficient budget allocation and cost control
• Collaborate with senior leadership, external partners, and customers to align commercial strategies and maximise value

Key Ingredients

• Proven experience in food or beverage
• Strong commercial leadership and strategy development background
• Demonstrated success in foodservice, ideally in regional and international roles
• Experience leading R&D or cross-functional innovation projects is a major plus
• Excellent stakeholder management and restructuring capabilities
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
