nutrition, convenience, and lifestyle health. The goal is to make healthy eating accessible for people with busy lifestyles through
structured meal solutions, functional food products, and community-driven food experiences.
In the early phase, Kefilo is validating key business verticals such as:
- Healthy meal solutions for daily consumption
- In-house wellness food products focused on functional nutrition
- Community-driven food experiences through stalls, gyms, and wellness ecosystems
At the same time, the company is building a strong
research and innovation base in food technology, nutrition science, and ingredient innovation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Food Innovation Officer who will help lead
research, product innovation, and development of new food concepts aligned with the wellness vision of Kefilo.
This role will focus on creating
innovative recipes, functional food products, and nutrition-focused meal solutions while also building the
R&D foundation for the company.
This is an
equity-based role ideal for individuals who want to contribute to building a
research-driven wellness food brand from the early stage.
Key Responsibilities 1. Food Product Innovation
- Design and develop new healthy meal concepts and functional food products
- Experiment with nutrient-dense ingredients, functional foods, and innovative recipes
- Work on improving taste, nutrition balance, and scalability of food products
- Research & Development
- Conduct research on nutrition science, food innovation, and emerging wellness food trends
- Explore opportunities in functional ingredients, gut health foods, and nutrient-preserving cooking techniques
- Contribute to building the long-term R&D roadmap for Kefilo
- Product Testing & Optimization
- Test products for taste, nutritional value, shelf life, and operational feasibility
- Work closely with the operations team to standardize recipes and production processes
- Collaboration with Research Ecosystem
- Build partnerships with food labs, nutrition experts, and universities
- Support development of research insights, product documentation, and innovation reports
- Innovation Documentation
- Help create product documentation, research insights, and knowledge resources
- Contribute to the company’s innovation narrative for investors and partners
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or Culinary Innovation
- Passion for healthy food, functional ingredients, and nutrition science
- Interest in research-driven product development
- Ability to experiment with recipes, ingredients, and food formats
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
