Kefilo is a
wellness-focused food startup working on innovative solutions at the intersection of
nutrition, convenience, and lifestyle health. The goal is to make healthy eating simple and accessible through
structured meal solutions, functional food products, and community-driven food experiences.
In the initial phase, Kefilo is validating key verticals such as:
- Healthy meal subscription solutions for daily nutrition
- In-house wellness food products focusing on functional ingredients
- Community engagement through stalls, gyms, and wellness ecosystems
Alongside this, Kefilo aims to build a strong
R&D and food innovation ecosystem by collaborating with
food labs, universities, and nutrition experts.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Food Innovation Officer who will lead
research and development of innovative food concepts, recipes, and functional products aligned with Kefilo’s wellness vision.
This role will help build the
innovation backbone of the company, focusing on
nutrition science, ingredient experimentation, and scalable product development.
This is an
equity-based role, ideal for someone interested in building a
research-driven food brand from the early stage.
Key Responsibilities 1. Product & Recipe Innovation
- Develop new healthy meal concepts and functional food products aligned with wellness and nutrition goals
- Experiment with innovative ingredients, functional foods, and balanced meal formats
- Research & Development
- Conduct research on nutrition science, food technology, and emerging food trends
- Identify opportunities for functional ingredients, gut health foods, and nutrient-dense products
- Product Testing & Optimization
- Test food products for taste, nutrition balance, shelf life, and operational feasibility
- Standardize recipes and preparation processes for scalability
- R&D Ecosystem Building
- Collaborate with food labs, universities, and research institutions
- Contribute to building a research-driven innovation base for Kefilo
- Documentation & Knowledge Development
- Create product documentation, research insights, and innovation reports
- Support development of food innovation concepts that can be showcased to investors
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Innovation, or related fields
- Strong interest in healthy food innovation and functional nutrition
- Ability to experiment with ingredients, recipes, and product formats
- Passion for research-driven food development
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
