Role Description The Food and Beverage Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Safari Lodges India in Kanha.
The supervisor oversees daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high service standards in restaurants, bars, and outdoor dining areas.
Responsibilities include supervising service staff, coordinating meal service schedules, and maintaining quality and consistency in food presentation and guest interactions. The role involves managing guest requests, handling feedback, and supporting a warm, attentive dining experience that aligns with the lodge’s nature-focused hospitality. The supervisor also assists with inventory checks, basic cost control, hygiene and safety compliance, and training team members in service etiquette and lodge-specific standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, staff scheduling, and on-the-floor guidance.
- Candidates should possess expertise in service standards and food service, with a focus on premium hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with diverse guests.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of basic food safety, hygiene practices, and coordination with kitchen teams.
- Prior experience in food and beverage supervision, ideally in boutique hotels, resorts, or safari lodges, is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per lodge operations.
- Comfort with living and working in a remote, wildlife-focused environment and commitment to responsible tourism.
