Position Summary: The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and financial profitability. This role involves managing staff, budgeting, menu planning, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including service delivery and quality control.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring cost control and profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
Menu Development:
- Collaborate with chefs to create innovative and seasonal menus.
- Ensure all food and beverage offerings meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Address customer feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute promotional events and marketing strategies to drive sales.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
