Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Food and Beverage Supervisor. The role involves overseeing day-to-day food service operations, maintaining high service standards, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with team members, addressing guest concerns, and implementing quality control measures to ensure a premium dining experience.
Qualifications
Actively perform front-of-house duties: greet and seat guests, take orders via POS, serve multi-course small plates and sake/beverages, clear tables, and reset for 3-4 turns nightly in a 50+ cover rush
Lead by example on the floor: demonstrate flawless service standards, provide real-time coaching to 8-12 waitstaff/runners, conduct pre-shift briefings, and step in during peaks to ensure seamless kitchen coordination
Manage guest relations: resolve complaints/escalations within 5 minutes, upsell specials (e.g., seasonal omakase, sake flights), track table turnover for 80%+ occupancy, and maintain hygiene/inventory logs.
-3 years as Restaurant Captain/Supervisor in upscale Asian/Japanese or fine dining , with proven hands-on service in 100+ cover nights
