Role Description The Food and Beverage Captain is a full-time, on-site role based at our property in Dapoli. This role oversees day-to-day food and beverage operations, including supervising service teams, coordinating table setups, and ensuring smooth service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Food and Beverage Captain monitors adherence to service standards, manages guest reservations and seating, and responds promptly to guest requests or concerns to ensure a high-quality dining experience. Responsibilities include training and guiding service staff, coordinating with the kitchen team for timely and accurate order delivery, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation in all dining areas. The role also involves assisting with menu promotions, supporting inventory checks, and contributing to continuous improvement of guest experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and staff coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Service Standards knowledge and Food Service expertise to maintain consistent quality.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Prior experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in luxury hospitality or high-end resorts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Relevant hospitality diploma or degree is preferred; equivalent experience in food and beverage supervision is also valued.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and basic inventory practices in restaurant and bar operations.
