Job Title: Food & Beverage Associate
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: F&B Supervisor / Restaurant Manager
Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring efficient food and beverage operations. The role involves taking guest orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a pleasant dining experience while following hotel standards and hygiene protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Present menus and provide accurate information about food and beverage offerings.
Take guest orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages promptly according to service standards.
Set up, clean, and maintain dining tables before and after service.
Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, service stations, and equipment.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
Process guest bills and handle cash/POS transactions when required.
Assist in buffet setup, banquets, and special events as assigned.
Comply with company policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality (preferred).
Previous experience in F&B service is an advantage; freshers may also apply.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused attitude with a positive personality
.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Basic knowledge of food service, restaurant etiquette, and hygiene standards.
