Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Gangtok for an Assistant Professor in Food and Beverage. The individual will be responsible for planning and delivering lectures, curriculum design, student mentorship, and conducting practical training sessions related to food and beverage management. The role will also include evaluating student performance, organizing workshops, and staying updated with the latest trends in the food and beverage industry to ensure advanced learning practices are adopted.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Food Service techniques with a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Knowledge and skills in Food & Beverage management, including operational processes and quality control.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to foster a positive learning environment and mentor students effectively.
- A Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management, or related discipline is preferred.
- Prior teaching or training experience and/or industry experience in the food and beverage sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a passion for skills
