About the role
Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department, Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 14 Inspector of Legal Metrology Posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online. Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form. The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2025. The category-wise age relaxation is also provided. A candidate must pass B.Sc (Agriculture) or a degree declared equivalent to BSc.(Agriculture) from a recognized University and also recognized by the Government of Assam. Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam. The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
