Why This Role?
We’re building FOLO, a first-of-its-kind product in India’s fintech space—and we’re looking for a Java Backend Developer who’s ready to take ownership and help scale the entire tech stack.
You’ll work directly with the founders (myself and Vishal Purohit) to bring ambitious ideas to life, shape the product from the ground up, and lead our backend architecture as we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and scale robust backend systems using Java
- Own key parts of the architecture and infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and the founding team to deliver seamless user experiences
- Contribute to technical direction, architecture decisions, and long-term scalability
- Help lay the groundwork for building a world-class engineering team
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Java backend development
- Strong grasp of REST APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with high-scale systems and performance optimization
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion
- Bonus: Exposure to fintech, startups, or fast-paced product environments
